ViFly (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the PromptClaw mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Summary

PromptClaw is designed to help you organize and manage text prompts and related media on your device. The App works primarily offline. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate our own servers that receive your prompt content or media for processing in normal use of the App.

2. Information the App Processes

2.1 Data you provide and store locally

The App stores the following on your device using local storage (database and app preferences):

Prompts: Text content you enter or paste.
Tags: Names and associations you create for organizing prompts.
Media references: Information needed to open images or videos you attach to prompts (such as content URIs or paths permitted by the system). Actual files usually remain in your gallery or the location you chose; the App references them as allowed by Android.
Clipboard history: When you use clipboard-related features, text you choose to save or use may be stored in a local history list inside the App.
Settings: Preferences such as language, theme, and display options.

2.2 Device permissions

The App may request access that Android defines as sensitive only for the features below:

2.3 Import and export

When you import or export data (for example, markdown or files you choose), the App reads or writes only the files and locations you select or that you explicitly allow through the system file or document picker.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only:

To provide App features (managing prompts, tags, media, clipboard history, settings).
To remember your preferences on the device.
As you direct (for example, copying to clipboard, exporting a file).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your prompts or media to train public AI models through this App.

4. Sharing and Third Parties

We do not transmit your prompt text, tags, or clipboard history to our company servers in the current version of the App (the app is not built to require an Internet permission for core functionality).

The following device-level or user-initiated interactions may involve other parties:

Google Play: If you open the App’s link to rate or update the App, you interact with Google Play, which has its own privacy terms.
Email: If you send feedback using your email app, the message is sent through your email provider, not through a ViFly-controlled inbox except as the recipient address below.
Android backup: Depending on your device settings, Google or your device backup may include certain app data (for example, preferences). See your device’s backup and Google Account settings.

No advertising or analytics SDKs are integrated in the App for the purpose of tracking you across apps or websites.

5. Data retention and deletion

Data stored by the App remains on your device until you delete it in the App (for example, deleting a prompt or clearing history where the feature exists) or until you clear app data / uninstall the App.
Uninstalling the App typically removes local App data unless your device or backup tools restore it according to your settings.

6. Security

We rely on Android’s app sandboxing and your device security (screen lock, etc.) to protect locally stored data. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to keep your device updated and avoid sharing unlocked devices with untrusted parties.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not specifically directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through dedicated online services in this App. If you believe a child has provided information in a way that concerns you, contact us at the email below.

8. International users

If you use the App outside the country where ViFly operates, your information stays on your device as described above; backup providers may process data according to their policies and your account settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version by updating the Effective date at the top and, where appropriate, providing notice in the App or on the store listing. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where allowed by law.

This policy is provided for use with Google Play and general transparency. It describes the App’s behavior based on its design as a local productivity tool.
